MY VERSION OF ART CARDS
Here are some art cards I did on stream yesterday.
I like to make art cards from from card stock that I use for my left over paint, ink or whatever when I'm working on an art project. I ended up saving the pieces of cardstock because I liked how they looked.
One day I decided I needed to do something with all these pieces of colorful paper. This is were my theory that you can turn anything into art. I took the papers and started adding stamps, washi tape, more paint. I cut them up into different sizes because I did not want to end up with a bunch of ATC size cards 2 1/2 x 3 1/2. I rounded the edges. Inked them and voila Art Cards.
I use the art cards for gift tags, send them out with happy mail. You could use them for anything. Stick them in a book as a bookmark. Put them in someones lunch. Just give them out to make someone smile.
So use your imagination and turn all those colorful pieces of leftover stuff into art!!!
Welcome to my blog. A place where I share my art and thoughts about what is going on.

December Stencil Girl Club
This month I used a technique from “Fast and Fun Watercoling” by Gina Lee Kim with my December Stencil Girl Stencil Club stencils. I used watercolor paint, wax oil pastels and Elmer’s glue.

My Most Recent Art Journal Page
Recently I signed up for the Art Foamies monthly box. I recieved my first box for November and it was filled with fun Thanksgiving Stamps, stencils, Pebeo Fabric paint, a paint brush and an apron.
So far I played with the stamps and stencils with acrylic paint on an art journal page with some leftovers on it. When i was finished I filled in the white space with PanPastels.
Hope everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving!!!

USE YOUR LEFTOVERS TO CREATE
Don't forget to use your leftovers to create art. These cards were made from leftovers of a journal page I made this week.

I cleaned of my stamp I used for the words and the yellow paint onto card stock. That left a good starting point for some new art cards. I picked out some stamps. Went through my letter stickers I have for scrapbooking. And here is what I came up with. I really like these and think I will now do a journal page using these cards as inspiration.
You never know what you might come up with using your leftovers.
